- I finished my exams, so now I'm just waiting for my results. In theory this means I have slightly more time to blog.
- I finally got my hands on Lessons From the Fatosphere and devoured it in less than four days.
- I also downloaded a copy of You Count, Calories Don't which I'm currently working my way through. It's not as good as Health At Every Size and I don't agree with everything the author has to say, but it's worth a read anyway.
- I spent a weekend doing lots of exercise running round after kids at a St John Badger Camp. I felt utterly knackered but had great fun. Oh yeah, and I also pushed a minibus round a field.
- I got a new tattoo. It say's "No Day But Today" and is on my right inside forearm. It's a message I want to apply to my life and now the tattoo is a constant reminder of how I want to live my life.
- I've started packing to move out of the house I've been living in for the past two years. This is making me very sad and very nostalgic, but is also good exercise.
- I've not yet started the cycling every morning thing I wanted to try, but there's time yet. If truth be told I'm still recovering from Badger Camp. And I really need to go to bed before 2am to really get this going.
- I started a second blog, called the Chuck-It Cook. I plan for this blog to detail my adventures and misadventures on the kitchen, and I consider this a vital step on my path to Fat Acceptance. This blog is saying "I'm a fat woman, I enjoy cooking and eating and there's nothing wrong with that".

An Even Quicker Update
Thursday, 4 February 2010
3 day report
I was planning on writing a fairly lengthy blog post tonight, but I ended up talking to my Mum on the phone for an hour, so instead you’re just getting a quick update on how the diet is going. Today is day three of the super diet, and so far it’s been a mixed experience.
I’m not 100% following my calorie guidelines, but then they were only supposed to be guidelines anyway. I am no far more aware of the calorie content of the food I’m eating, and I try to keep calories, sugar and fat down as low as possible. The 1200 calories I set myself a day was designed to give me a bit of a leeway, and to be honest, I am actually staying pretty much on target.

Long time no post...
In September I moved into a house with three of my friends from Uni. Times have been excellent and frivolous and much goodness has been had. They are good people, the house is lovely and well suited to me getting to lectures etc, and it's generally been great fun being a proper adult.
Later in September I started my second year at University *insert gasps and other panicky noises here*. Work has been challenging but the load fairly manageable up to this point. Next semester might be slightly different; 3 extra modules, an extra lab and a dissertation to write (it's not fair, its only my second year!!). Only two exams in January, which is good. I do have a test tomorrow (technically today by this point :S) but its only worth 10% of the module and we're allowed crib sheets :D Wish me luck anyway.
Society stuff has been quite fun. I'm enjoying being Vice President (or President of Vice as I like to call myself :P), knowing I'm really in charge without doing very much. Had a load of training to do and we've had one or two hiccups, but other than that it's been great fun. Will definitely be running again for next year :)
Christmas is coming up soon. I've got my first advent calender in years and I'm enjoying eating the chocolates before breakfast (cos I was never allowed to as a kid). No real idea what I want for myself but I've just about sorted other people out. I'm expecting good things from the bloke though :)
Speaking of whom, it is slowly creeping up to our first anniversary together :D I know it's not til the end of January, but I can't help being excited and part of me still can't believe it. We had wanted to go to Paris for the weekend to celebrate, but money and time constraints wouldn't allow :( So we've booked a mini-cruise to Amsterdam for sometime before we both have exams, and I can't wait. I know we're not quite there yet but I am so looking forward to another year together. We're planning on moving in together for our third year, which will be absolutely wonderful.
Anyways, it's late and I'd better shoot off. See ya'll again the next time I get the urge to post.
